Our Story
Made from thread, worn for generations.
House of VEYR is a clothing house designed in Auckland. We make a small number of pieces, and we make them properly: heavyweight super combed cotton tees, and reversible vests handcrafted in Jaipur in artisan cotton, some with a pure silk reverse. Every piece has a strong point of view.
Fewer, better pieces
We believe in buying less and wearing it more. Our reversible vests are made as two complete faces stitched back to back, so one piece gives you two looks. Our tees are cut generously from dense, soft cotton that holds its shape wash after wash.
The mark of the hand
Many of our pieces carry hand stitching and hand printing, including kantha work, a stitching tradition that layers cloth with lines of running stitch. No two are exactly alike. The small variations you will find in stitch, print and colour are not imperfections. They are the signature of the people who made your piece.
The cloth
Everything starts with the cloth. We choose prime-quality cloth for how it feels against the skin, how it wears, and how it ages: softer with every wash, never thinner.
